Privacy policy

Geogize (geogize.com and portal.geogize.com) is operated by ZeriZeri Ltd (company number 16554914), a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what we collect when you use the free check or the agency portal, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

• The URL you check. We fetch the public pages of that site (homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, structured data) to run the audit.
• Your email address, if you ask us to send the full report and generated fixes.
• Audit results: the score, checks, and any fixes generated for the URL you checked.
• Basic technical data: IP address and request metadata, used only for rate-limiting the free check and standard security logging.
• If you sign up for the agency portal: your account details, workspace and client data you add, and billing information (processed by Stripe: we don't store card details ourselves).

How we use it

To run the check you asked for, generate fixes, email you the report if you requested it, operate your agency account if you have one, and keep the service secure and within fair-use limits. We don't sell your data, and we don't use content from the sites you audit to train any model.

Legal basis

We process the URL and audit data on the basis of your request (contract / legitimate interest in providing the check you asked for). We process your email address for the full report on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see below).

Who we share data with

We use a small number of processors to run the service, each bound by their own data-processing terms:

• Cloudflare: hosting, edge compute, and storage (Workers, D1, KV, R2) for the whole product.
• Anthropic: generates the fix content (JSON-LD, llms.txt, FAQ suggestions) from facts extracted from the audited site. We don't send your email address to this processor.
• Resend: delivers the report email if you request one.
• Stripe: processes billing for agency portal subscriptions.

We don't sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we don't share it for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

The free checker on geogize.com doesn't set marketing or analytics cookies. The agency portal (portal.geogize.com) uses strictly necessary session cookies to keep you signed in. These aren't used for tracking or advertising.

Data retention

Audit results and lead data are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and respond to support requests, and are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Agency portal data is kept for the lifetime of the account plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we've handled your data incorrectly.

Children

Geogize is a business tool and isn't directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "last updated" date above if this policy changes materially, and where appropriate we'll tell existing account holders directly.
