Why schema markup matters more than almost anything else

Structured data (JSON-LD) is how a website tells AI systems what it actually is (Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Product) in a format they can parse directly, instead of guessing from prose. It's worth 30 of the 100 points in Geogize's score, more than any other category, because it's the clearest signal an AI system has to work with.

This generator is part of the same free check every Geogize visit runs: enter your URL, and if a schema fix is relevant, it's generated alongside your full score and any other fixes your site needs, using only facts confirmed on your own site. Anything we can't confirm (a phone number, an address) is flagged rather than invented.

Is this a standalone tool, or part of the full check?

It's the same engine as the homepage check. Enter your URL and we score your site across four categories, then generate the JSON-LD (and anything else relevant: llms.txt, FAQ content) as part of the results.

Where do I add the generated JSON-LD?

Paste it into your site's <head> as a <script type="application/ld+json"> block. Most CMS platforms have a header/custom-code field for exactly this.
